IRENE + ALEJANDRO

Equal parts tender love and rock and roll. Most wedding photographers only dream about working with couples like Alejandro and Irene.

We were honored that this wild and beautiful couple chose us to capture their wedding!

Here is their story...

Alejandro met Irene many years ago in Granada.

Alejandro knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Irene, and he decided to propose to her. He chose the perfect spot: the top of a mountain called ¨cerro gordo¨ that overlooked the Mediterranean Sea.

Irene was overjoyed when Alejandro asked her to marry him, and she immediately said yes. They decided to have their wedding at the Monasterio "La Cartuja," a beautiful monastery located on the outskirts of the city. The monastery is a stunning example of Spanish Baroque architecture, with its intricate carvings and ornate facades. They planned a beautiful traditional Spanish ceremony.

The day of their wedding was hot day in august. It seemed like every guest was fluttering a fan and this created both a light breeze and a dreamy authentic Spanish atmosphere. Alejandro and Irene got married in the best way possible; with smiles on their faces, tears in their eyes, and surrounded by their loved ones.

After the ceremony, Alejandro and Irene arrived at the reception on a motorcycle, much to the surprise of their guests. The incredible venue called Huerta del Sello, beautiful patio surrounded by lush greenery, and it provided the perfect setting for the reception. There, they were treated to tattoos and rocked the night away with music and dancing.

One month later, Alejandro and Irene celebrated their wedding by hiking to the top of ¨cerro gordo,¨ the mountain where Alejandro had proposed to Irene. We arrived at the ancient tower at the top, and we took some shots overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Alejandro and Irene were truly a sweet and alternative couple, and their wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love, creativity, and commitment to each other.

We wish you guys a lifetime of adventure and happiness together!
